sleepless nights when i was immature
the last fair deal left an awful sore
but name a deity who didnt struggle
all’em knew the light would shine until tomorrow
i borrow a memory from me
and act like its rented
to return without a tear
directors cut unfinished
scent of a lily never penetrated really
cuz the object of my affection
lessened my greater doing which is
helping plant the totem in your wet dream
and hope it blossoms
be the pulse that make your chest weak
semi self suffient thinker from the chesapeake
sink the sermons and we’ll sail until we learn needs
i know you feel a right to where you stay
thought it belong to god
who’s line anways
what’s art without culture
what’s thought without a road to an action
that satisfies some other than none other
and on my death bed tell me the truth
see that my grave’s kept clean
and my children schooled
not with boundaries
but mounds to keep em tall when its cloudy
and appreciate the sun
raindrops’ll smile proudly
